Network between LIFE GRANATHA and FRESHLIFE on the prescribed burn
Thursday 8 February LIFE GRANATHA together with the FRESHLIFE project will participate in the public meeting organized by the Tuscany Region and the Unione dei Comuni della Val di Sieve for the presentation of the “Maintenance plan/adaptation of the fender avenues and treatment of critical points with the technique of the prescribed burn “.
The meeting will be held at the Visitor Center of Ponte a Enna in Reggello on Thursday 8 February 2018 at 17.00.
During the meeting will be described and illustrated the criteria followed in the design phase and the procedures for carrying out the intervention of the “prescribed burn”. Furthermore, the teaching and experimental possibilities of the intervention regarding the training of the AIB regional system personnel and the possibility of using this technique for the sustainable management of some ecosystems will be illustrated, with examples taken from LIFE GRANATHA and FRESHLIFE projects.
