Inspections with companies for interventions in the heathlands
On Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 August, as part of the tender procedure for the awarding of the restoration work on the heathlands (Actions C1 and C2), surveys were carried out with the selected companies through a tender procedure. During the meetings, the technicians of DREAm Italia and of the Pratomagno Union of Municipalities illustrated the details on how the works were carried out. At the end of the race the offers will be evaluated and then awarded the works, which are expected to start in early October. The interventions (mainly brushcutters to favor the return of the heather and the cutting of the alien conifers) are divided into two lots, covering about 42 hectares.
