LIFE GRANATHA at the White Night of biodiversity
The ornithologists of the LIFE Granatha project participated in two night events of the White Night of Biodiversity. The first event was held on 29 July 2020 in the State Reserves of Formole, Poggio Rosso and Fungaia organized by the National Biodiversity Center of Carabinieri. The second event, organized on 1 August by the CAI – Italian Alpine Club Section of Arezzo, included an excursion to Prati di Loro – Croce del Pratomagno, involving a total of about 100 people.
They were important occasions to illustrate the actions and objectives of the project. On both occasions, demonstration sessions for monitoring the nightjar were organized.
