27 and 28 May two days dedicated to students
On 27 and 28 May, as part of Action E4 “Implementation of an environmental education campaign aimed at citizens and schools”, LIFE Granatha organizes two days entirely dedicated to students, over 300 belonging to 20 primary school classes Valdarno and Casentino, involved in the environmental education activities carried out by the project.
“Granatha For Kids”, this is the name of the program of activities that the project has implemented with schools, but it is also the name of the educational portal created by the environmental guides of the Oros Cooperative, which contains numerous information, videos and images on naturalistic aspects , cultural and economic linked to the Pratomagno heaths. The portal can be visited from the homepage of the project website www.lifegranatha.eu.
On May 27th there will be the award ceremony of the “Super Granatha Kids” school competition, with an exceptional guest, Mario Carbonai, grenade manufacturer from the Ambra Valley and friend of the first hour of the project. On the 28th morning there will be a short seminar that will deal with the themes developed during the educational activities, with contributions on the flora and fauna of the moors and on the ancient crafts related to heather, all accompanied by splendid photos of Wildeperegrine’s friends; the afternoon all on the moor!
