It’s not over yet..
LIFE Granatha project officially ended on 31 March 2023. However, the conservation activities of the heathlands and in particular of the birdlife nesting there will not stop. In fact, the After LIFE Conservation Plan is now starting, providing continuity to the actions carried out in the project for the next 5 years. Keep following the project on social media and stay updated on the activities that will be carried out.
In the meantime, we would like to point out that on the products page of the website you can download all the products produced within the project, including the reports on the monitoring actions. We would like to point out in particular the report produced within the framework of Action C5 “Guidelines for the evaluation of the effects of productive management of brooms on biodiversity, using birds as indicators”. In fact, this document summarises the good practices experimented by the project for the conservation of heathland birdlife, consistent with their productive management, highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of the interventions carried out.
